New in books #1

Hi! I have collected some books in the past month, and I wanted to share them with you :-) (Side note: I have gotten really into graphic novels in the past couple months, which you can probably tell from the picture below).
I recently started watching The Walking Dead again after having gotten stuck in season 1, and when my friend told me how much she liked the graphic novels, I had to get it. I looked up the cheapest option, and ended up ordering this humongous compendium edition. I’m so excited to read this, although I am kind of mad that Daryl’s character isn’t a part of the comics.
The next three graphic novels are The Wicked + The Divine vol 2: Fandemonium, Saga vol 2 and Chew vol 2: Taster’s choice. I have already read all of these, and I wrote about them in my September reads post a couple days ago.
Just like everybody else, I love the tv show Game of Thrones. I have thought about starting the book series, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin, for a while now, and luckily two of my friends decided to get me the first book, A Game of Thrones, for my birthday.
I also got the short story The Lottery by Shirley Jackson, which I also mentioned in my September reads.
